From Tulsa, Oklahoma all the way to Seattle, Vanessa Dawn’s cleverly chill comedy sneaks up on you like an unmarked car at a DUI checkpoint. This relaxed wit has taken her to the Big Pine Comedy Festival, Seattle International Comedy Competition, Black Girl Giggles Comedy Festival, and a boatload of other destinations — she performs at festivals, clubs, and theaters throughout the Pacific Northwest, West Coast, and whole country. You might have asked her for directions one time. She gets this a lot, probably due to having the kind eyes and welcoming vibe of a Care Bear.
Courtney Byrd is a PNW native who moved to Seattle to pursue big dreams of walking dogs. She has since made a name for herself in both the K-9 and comedy communities. Courtney was part of Portland’s Rip City Comedy Fest, a finalist in the Funniest MFer Competition and participated in the 43rd annual Seattle International Comedy Competition. She’s the co-host of the Pretty/Dumb Podcast and is the producer of Lady Bits, a monthly all-female comedy show.
